We are delighted to report that four Dandelion Vineyards wines have won accolades at the Sydney International Wine Competition. Pride of the Fleurieu Peninsula Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 and Lioness of McLaren Vale Shiraz 2013 both placed in the Top 100.
As the name implies, the Top 100 are the 100 highest pointed of the Blue-Gold Award winners.
Menagerie of the Barossa Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2013 and Enchanted Garden of the Eden Valley Riesling 2014 both won Gold Awards. The Sydney International Wine Competition is unique as it is the only major, international wine show that judges wines not only in technical terms, but also as a complement to food and the dining experience.
