Elena and Zar Brooks’ vision for the Wonder Room was thoughtfully brought to life by repurposing the footprint of the old tractor shed to create a space that seamlessly blends rustic features, warm tones, and clean lines. The grand white amphitheatre-style sitting steps and extensive glass window façade showcase the many stunning natural landscapes surrounding the site. Visitors can sit back, relax, and take in the stunning views while sipping on a glass of Dandelion Vineyards wine.
Elena and Zar Brooks have always dreamed of creating a space that’s more than a cellar door, and they can now share their passion for wine with visitors through the Wonder Room.
Come and enjoy one of our sit-down tasting experiences, tutored by our Wonder Room staff as you take in the views. We are open daily from 10am to 6pm.

Just like the dandelion seeds float across the earth, our wines spread like a dandelion across the regions. Be led by our passionate and knowledgeable team through the story of Dandelion Vineyards featuring a selection of four wines from the Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, and the Barossa.*

Be welcomed to the Wonder Room and embark on a journey through five exquisite Dandelion Vineyards wines. This tasting experience showcases our small batch, hard-to-find wines that tell our story from different vantage points of vineyards and varieties that we love. Showcasing varieties grown in the Eden Valley, Barossa, McLaren Vale and our Firehawk Farm.*

Embark on an unforgettable tasting journey, where every sip unveils the story of exceptional vineyards and timeless craftsmanship.
Start this tasting journey with the Wonderland of the Eden Valley Riesling and discover this single vineyard wine carefully crafted from 113-year-old vines. This icon Riesling is focused on fruit purity, complexity, and flavour intensity. Then experience an unparalleled immersion of our McLaren Vale Firehawk Farm vineyard.
This 60-acre property, now home to Dandelion Vineyards, is perched atop an ancient ridge offering breathtaking views of McLaren Vale, the Willunga Escarpment, and the Gulf St. Vincent.

Beneath the surface, the soil is rich in limestone and ironstone, resulting in remarkable Grenache, Shiraz, and Petite Sirah wines. Expect the unexpected…*

*Red Queen Tasting Add-On at $20
All of our experiences can be elevated with a tasting of the Red Queen of the Eden Valley Shiraz from vineyards planted in 1912 by Colin Kroehn. The new release 2020 vintage has been awarded 96 Points by the Halliday Wine Companion. “Despite the plushness and fruit density on display, there is a wonderful sense of tension in this wine, coiled kinetic energy that resolves on the mid-palate with a finish of great velocity and length,” says Dave Brooks.
