Two Dandelion Vineyards wines are included in the 2013 Adelaide Review Hot 100 South Australian Wines

South Australia’s top wines of 2013 were revealed at a gala event last night; the launch of the annual The Adelaide Review Hot 100 South Australian Wines.

Led by Chief of Judges James Erskine, the 19 judges from all over the country blind-tasted around 1100 South Australian wines to discover 2013’s most drinkable drops.

Twilight of the Adelaide Hills Chardonnay 2012 and Lionheart of the Barossa Shiraz 2012 were included in the Hot 100. Here is what the judges had to say…

Twilight of the Adelaide Hills Chardonnay 2012: “Opens from riverbank to orchard with slate stones and crunchy fruit. A refreshing oiliness, which cusps the flavours of feijoa, lime and tropical fruits.”

Lionheart of the Barossa Shiraz 2012: “Loads of intensity here. Fine grained oak and a sweet tone of cherry. You’ll wait for no one once you’ve begun this ride.”

The full list of the hottest 100 wines is available in the free publication The Adelaide Review Hot 100 South Australian Wines 2013/14, which is available from today.
