Pride of the Fleurieu Peninsula Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 (91 Points) - Josh Raynolds

Posted July 18, 2013

"Glass- staining ruby. Expressive aromas of cherry, blackcurrant and peppery spices, with a smoky overtone. Silky dark berry flavors show very good depth and spicy intensity, with no excess weight and strong backend cut. In a balanced, elegant style, with dusty tannins adding shape and grip to the persistent, tightly focused finish. This suave wine is carrying a relatively modest 13.5% alcohol, which hardly fits the old stereotype of Aussie red wines as outsized and boozy." Josh Raynolds from International Wine Cellar (US) Issue 169, July/August 2013
